To Kill a Mockingbird, Harper Lee’s 1960 Pulitzer Prize winning novel is our reading for this week. The book touches on the serious issues of racial inequality. It pulls much of its content from Lee’s own background growing up the segregated South. The book was adapted to film in 1962 and is one of the most widely used books read in high schools across the nation.
